Cookie Policy

Analytics stay off until you accept, and you can withdraw that consent from this page in one click. Everything else we store is first-party and functional - here is the full list.

Last updated: August 13, 2026 Applies to ricercacredit.com

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device to store information. Similar technologies - such as pixels, tags, software development kits, and browser storage (for example, localStorage and sessionStorage) - perform comparable functions. They can be first-party (set by the site you are visiting) or third-party (set by another provider), and session (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent (remaining until they expire or are cleared). This Policy explains how Francette, LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company doing business as “Ricerca”, uses these technologies on the website at ricercacredit.com (the “Site”).

2. Our consent-first approach

We use Google Consent Mode v2 and take a consent-first approach. Analytics are denied by default, and no analytics scripts load and no analytics cookies are set until you click “Accept” on our cookie banner. If you decline (or take no action), non-essential technologies stay off. Accepting grants analytics storage only - advertising storage, ad user data, and ad personalization stay denied at all times. If no Google Analytics / Tag Manager identifier is configured for the Site, no analytics run and the banner does not appear at all.

Your choice is remembered locally in your browser under the key ricerca_consent_v1. This preference is stored in browser storage on your device; it is not a tracking cookie and is used only to remember whether you accepted or declined.

3. Categories we use

Strictly necessary

These are required for the Site to function and to honor your choices. This includes remembering your cookie consent decision (stored under ricerca_consent_v1) and basic technologies used to deliver and secure the Site. These cannot be switched off through the banner because the Site cannot work properly without them.

Analytics (only after consent)

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) to understand how visitors use the Site so we can measure and improve it. These technologies - and any cookies Google sets in connection with them - load only after you click “Accept.”

Spam protection

Where it is enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile protects our forms from automated abuse. The widget loads with the page whenever a protected form is present - currently the contact and get-started forms - rather than waiting for you to click into a field, and it may set a token or similar identifier on your device to complete the check. The sign-in pages of our portals, reachable from our sign-in page, are separate applications that use the same protection where enabled, under their own terms and privacy notices.

Functional browser storage

Two first-party keys live in your own browser and are never transmitted to us: your consent preference, and - only if you use the credit estimator - a copy of your estimator inputs and illustrative result, so that our get-started and contact forms can offer them back to you as an editable summary line instead of making you retype them. The estimator copy is session-scoped and disappears when you close the tab. Nothing from either key reaches us unless you submit a form.

4. Categories at a glance

Category Purpose Set / loaded Provider
Strictly necessary Site function and remembering your consent choice Always active Ricerca (first-party)
Analytics Aggregated usage measurement to improve the Site Only after you click “Accept” Google (GA4 / GTM)
Spam protection Protecting our forms and sign-in pages from spam and abuse When you open a page carrying a protected form (where enabled) Cloudflare (Turnstile)
Functional storage Carrying your estimator figures across to our forms, on your device Only if you use the estimator Ricerca (first-party)

5. Browser storage we set

Key What it holds Type Cleared
ricerca_consent_v1 Whether you accepted or declined analytics First-party localStorage When you change your choice below, or clear site data
ricerca:estimate Your last estimator inputs and illustrative result First-party sessionStorage When you close the tab (and it is ignored after 24 hours)

6. Third-party cookies

Google sets cookies in connection with GA4/GTM only after you accept analytics. These help distinguish users and sessions and measure how the Site is used. Cloudflare Turnstile, where enabled, may set a token or similar identifier to verify that a submission is human and to fight abuse; this is used for security rather than advertising. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-context behavioral targeting.

7. How to change or withdraw your choice

Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Use the control below - one click, effective immediately and remembered for future visits.

If the control above does not appear, either JavaScript is switched off in your browser or no analytics are configured for this Site at all - in which case there is nothing running to withdraw. You can also:

  • Reset your preference for this Site: clear site data / browser storage for ricercacredit.com (which removes the ricerca_consent_v1 value). The banner will appear again on your next visit so you can make a new choice.
  • Use your browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies and similar technologies, and clear local storage. Refer to your browser’s help pages for instructions. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may affect how the Site works.
  • Google Analytics opt-out: you can also install Google’s Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Withdrawing consent stops further analytics storage immediately. Cookies Google already set while consent was granted are cleared by clearing site data in your browser, as described above.
